Duplex Fire

Waterloo Fire crews were called to a duplex fire early Monday morning, according to KWWL. Crews were called to the corner of Wellington and 3rd Streets, near the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum, around 1:30. When they arrived, they found the building 75% engulfed in flames. The duplex is used by the Red Cross for families that have been displaced from their own homes. Nobody was inside the building at the time however a dog was believed to be inside. The status of that dog is unknown. The fire remains under investigation.
