Election Results

Here are the unofficial results from Tuesdays general election: Chuck Grassley has won another term as a US Senator with 56% of the vote. Ashley Hinson won a tight race for US Representative in District 2 picking up 54% of the vote.

At the State level Governor Kim Reynolds won her battle against Deidre DeJear and Rick Stewart with 58% of the vote. DeJear picked up 40% of the vote. Paul Pate will continue as the Secretary of State after winning his race with 60% of the vote. State Auditor is neck and neck with incumbent Rob Sand and challenger Todd Halbur both with 50% of the vote. Roby Smith has narrowly defeated Michael Fitzgerald for Treasurer with 51% of the vote. Mike Naig comfortably won the race for Secretary of Agriculture against John Norwood. Brenna Bird and Tom Miller are locked up 50/50 in the race for Secretary of State. Sandy Salmon got 65% of the vote to defeat Jenn Wolff for State Senator. Pat Grassley received 64% of the vote to knock off Carissa Froyum. Charley Thomson won his race against Dene Lundberg 60-40.

Here are the unofficial Bremer County results: Adam Hoffman won the race for Treasurer with 61% of the vote compared to 39% for Erin Pratt. Darius P.R. Robinson picked up 54% of the vote for County Attorney with Jill S. Dashner getting 46% of the vote. You can find full results on the secretary of state website.
