A man has escaped from the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility, according to KCRG. 24 year old Tyrin Jones failed to report back to the facility on Friday. He had been admitted to the facility on October 12th. He was incarcerated after being convicted of second degree Robbery. He and another man approached a man in Oelwein who was out for a walk and robbed him. One of them put the victim in a chokehold while the other hit him with a gun. Jones was 18 at the time of the attack. He is listed at 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs nearly 200 pounds. If you have any information on his whereabouts you are asked to contact police.
