Extension Office Keeps Track of Weather for Farmers

Farmers in Iowa, however, need more than just a large rodent to make critical decisions during the winter.

Ron Lenth from the Bremer County Iowa State Extension Office tells us what sources farmers WILL be using to keep track of the season:

It is interesting to note that, according to a paper from the Mathematical Association of America, between 1950 and 1999 Punxsutawney Phil predicted the length of each year’s winter with 70% accuracy.
