A 12 year old from Fairbank was killed over the weekend after becoming pinned under a lawn mower. The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to the 400 block of Lakeside Drive around 1:30 Saturday afternoon. There they found Carson McGrane under the lawn mower. McGrane was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead there. Officials say it appeared McGrane had stepped away from the mower, which then rolled backwards on an incline, hitting McGrane and trapping him underneath.
