A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly making a false sexual assault claim, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police took 30 year old Joshua Ehr into custody on Wednesday after he called them around 8:30pm to report a sexual assault. When police arrived on scene Ehr admitted no sexual assault had occurred. In March, he allegedly did virtually the same thing. Ehr was also arrested in March for allegedly borrowing another person’s cell phone at the Logan Avenue Hy-Vee and then refusing to give it back and claimed the person had attacked him. Ehr was arrested in 2022 for posting on Facebook that he was going to rape a woman and her children. When police approached him on that occasion he allegedly threatened to set the officer on fire.
