A motorcyclist has died after crashing along Highway 218 Tuesday afternoon. At around 4:45 p.m. the motorcycle driven by a 44 year old from Osage was traveling southbound near mile marker 195 when they lost control and entered into the median. The motorcycle came to rest in the median but debris continued on and struck a Jeep traveling in the northbound lanes. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name has not been released at this time. The Jeep received minor damage and the driver was uninjured.
