One person was killed in a crash on Highway 3 in Hampton Wednesday afternoon. The Iowa State Patrol says that around 1:35 p.m. a 2003 GMC Sierra was traveling westbound on Highway 3 when it crossed the center line and struck the front trailer axle of a semi. One person was killed in the collision although the names of those involved have not been released. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
