Three people were injured in a collision in Fayette County Tuesday morning, according to KCRG. Around 7:45 a vehicle driven by 51 year old Theresa Bachman of Maynard failed to yield and crashed into a vehicle driven by 35 year old Tiffany Watts of Oelwein. Watts and a child passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Bachman had to be extricated from her vehicle. She was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with serious, life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles are considered a total loss. The investigation into the crash is ongoing at this time.
