Cedar Falls Public Safety was called to a kitchen fire in the waning moments of Valentine’s Day. When they arrived at 3802 Laurinda Drive they found that residents had mostly extinguished the fire. Firefighters finished the job and prevented the fire from expanding beyond the kitchen. Occupants of the residence were transported to the hospital for evaluations.
