According to KWWL, firefighters put out a bedroom fire at a Cedar Falls home Saturday evening after flames were seen coming from a window.
The Black Hawk County Dispatch Center got a 911 call at 6:59 p.m. reporting a fire in the 2200 block of Lincoln St. When firefighters and public safety officers arrived, they say they found fire coming from a bedroom window.
Crews quickly put out the fire and stopped it from spreading to other parts of the home. The house has fire, smoke and water damage.
No one was hurt. The American Red Cross was called to help the person who lived there. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
