In an update to a story we told you about Monday, one person has died following a house fire in Waterloo, according to KWWL. The victim was one of six people taken to the hospital after a fire erupted in the 400 block of Sunnyside Avenue shortly after midnight Monday morning. Two people were rescued from an overhead porch. Waterloo Fire Rescue was able to put the fire out in 18 minutes. The victim’s name has not yet been released but they were an adult. The conditions of the other five hospitalized is unknown at this time.
