A Floyd man accused of sexually abusing children in 2018 and 2019 has been sentenced to prison time, according to KIMT. 64 year old Charles Thompson will spend up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to lascivious acts with a child and dissemination of obscene material to a minor. Thompson was ruled incompetent to stand trial last February but was ordered to take psychiatric medication. Thompson agreed to the plea deal the day before his trial was to begin.
