Hockey’s Smokehouse food truck will be setting up at Century 21 at 500 West Bremer Avenue in Waverly Monday and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Kruger family. Hockey’s will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday. A percentage of their sales and all of their tips will go to the Kruger family. Hockey’s says donations can be made without purchasing food Monday.
16 year old Daniel Kruger died Tuesday after being struck by train. His funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at Grace Baptist Church. A visitation will be held Monday night from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Kaiser Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and an hour prior to the service.
