Waterloo Police are investigating Mark Gallagher, who was the city’s Recreation Services Manager until February 11th, on allegations of financial improprieties, according to KWWL. Gallagher was placed on administrative leave on February 3rd before resigning on the 11th. Mayor Quentin Hart has ordered a full criminal investigation. Gallagher is also the Head Baseball Coach at Waterloo Columbus High School.
