Former Clarksville Officer Allegedly Had Sex with Teens on the Job

A former Clarksville police officer has been accused of having sex with teenagers while on the job, according to KWWL. Now 18 year old Chloe Trowbridge and 20 year old Alandria Trowbridge have filed a lawsuit against Michael Tobin Jr., Chief Barry Mackey, the Clarksville Police Department, and the City of Clarksville accusing Tobin of using his position of power to force them into having sex with him on many occasions. Chloe Trowbridge, who was 16 at the time, says she and Tobin engaged in countless forms of sex at the police station, in Tobin’s patrol car, and at his home, none of which she consented to. Many of the encounters happened during ride-alongs. On at least two occasions the two met during her high school lunch period in the parking lot. Tobin began messaging Alandria on Facebook. The conversation allegedly quickly turned to making sexual jokes and Tobin asking for nude photographs and sending nude pictures of himself. Alandria was interested in a career in law enforcement was scheduled to go on ride alongs with Tobin but cancelled them after the photos were sent. Tobin eventually convinced her go on one. Alandria accuses Tobin of sexually assaulting her at that time. Alandria says that she did not know what to do so she continued to go on ride alongs. According to the lawsuit Tobin sexually assaulted her at least 48 times. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for 15 counts including Harassment, Assault, Sexual Abuse, Sexual Grooming, Exploitation, Coercion, Kidnapping, False Imprisonment, Stalking, Illegal Surveillance, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, and Negligent Hiring, Retention, and Supervision.
