A former Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputy is facing charges for allegedly asking a woman who he had pulled over for speeding to show him her breasts in exchange for rescinding the ticket. Klint Bentley pulled the woman over in February and during the course of the stop asked the woman, “What’s in it for me?” in reference to not issuing the ticket. The woman was able to secretly record the entire exchange. Bentley continued to ask the woman for nude photos after the traffic stop via text message. Bentley was terminated from his job shortly after the woman reported these alleged actions. Bentley has been charged with Extortion, Non-Felonious Misconduct in Office, and Accepting a Bribe.
