A former preschool teacher from Grundy Center who was previously arrested after pictures of a nude boy in handcuffs was found in his possession has now had more charges filed against him for allegedly transporting a minor across state lines for sex, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 38 year old Brandon Baker, now of St. Helena Island, South Carolina, was charged with one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Child after the aforementioned picture was discovered. That picture was taken in his apartment across the street from the Grundy County Courthouse in 2013. He has now been charged with two counts of Transportation of a Minor with Intent to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity, Receipt and Transportation of Child Pornography, and four counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Authorities say Baker brought minors from Illinois and Wisconsin back to Grundy Center to have sex. Baker lived in Grundy Center until September of 2016 when he moved to Telluride, Colorado. While he was working as a preschool teacher there, authorities received a tip about possible child sex abuse material on his Adobe account. He was interviewed by police but never charged. He then moved to South Carolina, where he again worked as a preschool teacher. He was arrested earlier this month and returned to Iowa.
