A former UNI student already facing charges for allegedly harassing school officials has picked up more charges after officials discovered she was responsible for some Instagram posts, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 25 year old Aisha Nyala, now of Altoona, allegedly used the UNI Yoga Club Instagram page to harass Allyson Rafanell, the dean of students, and Heather Harbach, UNI’s vice president of student life. On Monday, 11 charges of Stalking by Use of a Technological Device, one count of misdemeanor first degree Harassment, and 11 counts of misdemeanor third degree Harassment were added to the charges Nyala was already facing. She had previously been accused of using Facebook to harass UNI officials and, in a complaint to the Board of Regents, threatened to shoot someone in the head if they did not do what she asked. Her bond has been set at $112,000.
