Former W-SR Employee is Finalist for Clear Lake Superintendent

A former Waverly Shell Rock School District employee is one of five candidates to become the new superintendent at Clear Lake, according to KIMT. Bridgette Dunn is currently the assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction at Mason City. Previously she was the director of educational services at WSR. Prior to that she was the interim director of the Malcolm Price Laboratory School in Cedar Falls. The other candidates are Ian Dye, the principal of Prairie Point Middle School in Cedar Rapids, Ted Ihns, the superintendent of Kasson-Mantorville schools in southeast Minnesota, Troy Lentell, the principal of Clear Creek Elementary School, and Dr. Pam Strangland, the student services director and associate superintendent at Boone schools.
