Three organizations are teaming up to give away $21,000 worth of free gas to Waterloo residents on Sunday, according to KWWL. Fueling Hope, Vision Leads, and HART Civic Strategies will host the pop-up giveway. They say rising costs at the pump are adding financial pressure to families already dealing with higher prices for groceries, housing, and utilities. The giveaway will run as long as supplies last. Only regular unleaded 87-octane gas will be available, diesel and premium 93-octane are not eligible. The location of the giveaway will be announced the day of the event.
