Friday Loo in Waterloo will get started this Friday, May 14th. The summer concert series held in Lincoln Park is back after being cancelled last year due to the pandemic. The first band to grace the stage will be Wildcard. They will play a mix of modern and old school country music with a touch of rock ‘n’ roll. They have opened for national touring acts such as Rodney Atkins, Florida Georgia Line, Shenandoah, and David Allen Coe. Food trucks will also be a Friday Loo, including Jim’s Smokin’ the Wheels on the Grill BBQ, Hungry Charlie’s, Flip’s, Chuckster’s, and Here’s What’s Poppin. A new addition to this year’s festivities is a mobile vaccination clinic. Both the one dose and two dose options will be available. Insurance information and a photo ID are requested but not required. The vaccines are free of charge. Admission to Friday Loo is also free and runs from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.
