Girls Escapes Sexual Assault

A Cedar Falls man has been arrested after allegedly pulling a teenage girl into a home and sexually assaulting her, according to KWWL. A 16 year old girl was outside with a child she was babysitting on Tuesday when Saul Santos Vasquez Martinez grabbed the girl and pulled her inside a home on West 18th Street. Once inside the home the man allegedly pinned the teen against the wall and began to fondle her. The girl then was able to push Vasquez away and run out of the door. Police responded shortly there after. They attempted to enter the home but there was no answer. They returned later with a search warrant and gained access to the home. Vasquez has been charged with second degree kidnapping and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. He also told an immigration official that he was in the country illegally. He is currently being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on $500,000 bond.
