A girl had to be rescued from the Cedar River in Waterloo Wednesday, according to KWWL. Two people that KWWL described as “young girls” went into the river under the Park Avenue Bridge Wednesday afternoon. One of the girls was able to get out on her own but the other had to be rescued by the Waterloo Fire Department. Both girls are expected to be okay.
