According to KWWL, Girl Scouts received a $17,500 donation from the Max and Helen Guernsey Charitable Foundation to enhance the Girl Scout experience.
The donation is aimed to help deliver an all-girl program focused on building leadership, life skills, and self-confidence. This year, over 2,300 girls in the Waterloo area will benefit from various experiences, including council events and outdoor adventures.
