Those looking to use a golf cart to get around Plainfield this year need to purchase their 2025 permit. Golf cart operators will need to provide proof of insurance and pay a $30 permit fee at City Hall before they can operate within City limits. Once they have done that they will be issued a sticker. They then will need an orange safety flag and adequate brakes and exhaust before becoming legal.
