Those in Readlyn that plan on using a golf cart to get around town can to register their golf carts on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon, weather permitting. Citizens can pull their golf carts to the alley behind City Hall and show proof of insurance. They also will need a slow moving sign on the cart, an orange safety flag 5ft or higher on the cart, adequate brakes and exhaust, and a rear or side mirror. Registration stickers are $60 and are good from 2025 through 2027. The registration fee will need to be paid with check or cash.
