The governor updated the COVID-19 numbers Tuesday morning at 11:00. 482 new positive cases for a total of 3,641 cases. 4 new deaths for a total of 83. 1,293 people have recovered so far. Coronavirus has been discovered in 84 of Iowa’s 99 counties. Testing is starting to ramp up by as of now only 1 in every 113 Iowans have been tested.
Governor Kim Reynolds has announced an initiative called Test Iowa which will provide drive through testing, online screening and more. The first testing site will be in Tama and the second in Des Moines. The Governor wants everyone to go to testiowa.com to take an assessment.
