Iowa House Speaker Pat Grassley, of New Hartford, has announced that he will run for re-election. Grassley, a Republican and grandson of United States Senator Chuck Grassley, represents House District 57, which includes Butler County and the western portion of Bremer County. Grassley was first elected to the Iowa House in 2006 and has served as speaker since 2019.
