Cedar Falls Mayor Rob Green has reversed course on a Pride Month proclamation, according to KWWL. Green put out a statement that said he would not sign the proclamation and would remove any references to his office due to his faith, but following many people speaking out in support of the proclamation at Monday night’s city council meeting Green confirmed he would, indeed, sign the proclamation. The council voted 7-1 to adopt the proclamation.
