Guilty Plea in Death of Former UNI Star

One person has pleaded guilty for their role in a car jacking in St Louis that killed a former UNI football player back in 2017, according to KWWL. 25 year old Jherrica Dixon pleaded guilty to eight felonies including five counts of carjacking and other firearms charges. She along with Floyd Barber and Kurt Wallace are alleged to luring a number of people to areas in St Louis to commit the car jackings. One of their victims was Jaz Granderson. He was shot and killed during the crime. Dixon will be sentenced on August 21. The other two have both pleaded not guilty to numerous charges. Granderson was a coach at De Smet Jesuit High School and played at UNI from 2009 to 2011.
