The man accused of breaking into the Dairy Queen in Charles City twice has pleaded guilty in the case. 33 year old Rene Hernandez, of Charles City, pleaded guilty to third degree burglary. Police say he tore off a roof vent to gain entry to the restaurant on August 23rd and 24th. Hernandez took $3,000 in cash and checkbooks and $63 in rolls of coins. He will be sentenced on November 9th.
