Guilty Plea in Shooting

The friend of a man who was re-arrested for stealing guns during a break in in Elk Run Heights and for shooting a man in the stomach has now pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of firearm, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 25 year old Mar’yo Lindsey Jr. was a passenger in a car being driven by Dequonterio Galloway-Bass back in July when police pulled them over. Police would find a loaded 9mm handgun with a laser site in the vehicle. They were prompted to pull the vehicle over after seeing Galloway-Bass with the gun in a SnapChat video about 20 minutes prior. Lindsey is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a 2014 felony conviction for carrying a revolver in his bag during high school football games. He also was on parole for shooting up a house in 2017 that injured a 9 year old.
