US Highways 18 and 218 at Floyd will be closed on Thursday. The closure will be in place to allow crews to repair gravel shoulders that were damaged by recent heavy rains. Eastbound 18 will be closed and detoured at Floyd County Road T-38. Westbound 18 and northbound 218 will be closed and detoured at Iowa 14. Southbound 218 will be detoured using Floyd County Road T-44 to 218 at exit 212. During this time the city of Floyd will only be accessible from the north on 218.
