The long awaited opening of the overpass at US 218 and C57 south of Janesville is scheduled for Thursday, October 13, weather permitting. Starting Thursday evening access to Highway 218 from Mt. Vernon, Bennington, and Gresham roads will be permanently closed. This will require intermittent night time lane closures over the next few evenings.
