A high speed chase led to a crash in Waterloo on Sunday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. An Iowa State Patrol Officer attempted to pull over a Dodge Charger with Minnesota plates heading north just outside of Waterloo. The Charger refused to pull over and the chase continued into the city. The fleeing vehicle struck two other vehicles on the elevated highway over West Fourth Street. The driver of the Charger was taken to the hospital with charges pending. No serious injuries were reported. An unmarked State Patrol vehicle sustained minor damage during the chase.
