The Bremer Avenue Bridge project in Waverly has officially been delayed. There are a combination of factors that have led to the delay, including weather conditions causing high river levels and soil testing complications. The project was supposed to be finished and the bridge reopened on September 1st. That now has reportedly been pushed back into November. Iowa Department of Transportation Field Services Coordinator Pete Hjelmstad will join the Breakfast Club Wednesday morning at 7:30 to discuss this delay.
