Hinson Recommends Readlyn Building for Federal Funding

The Readlyn Emergency Services Building Project has been recommended for federal funding consideration by Representative Ashley Hinson. The project is one of nine that will be considered by the House Appropriations Committee as part of their Fiscal Year 2027 Community Project Funding. The project asks for $1 million in federal funding to support critical emergency services infrastructure for the Readlyn community. The City of Readlyn and volunteers submitted the application in February. If the project is selected, it will then be considered by the full House and Senate and could be approved as early as this Summer. Final approval would require the President’s signature.
