Hit and Run Arrest

A man has been arrested after allegedly hitting a parked car in Evansdale and attempting to flee the scene, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to the 500 block of South Evans Road around 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Witnesses told police that they observed 27 year old Alex Tyer strike the parked vehicle and then point a gun at the person who called 911. The child was examined by paramedics before being released to her mother.
