A Hudson student has been suspended for the rest of this year and expelled for all of next year, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. That recommendation came after a closed door session by the Hudson Community Schools administration. The student has not been identified other than that they are not an elementary student and the incident has not been made clear but indications are that it is tied to a threat made against the school on May 1st. The expelled student would be eligible to return to the school in the fall of 2022 but would need to meet with the administration to reflect on the time away and then meet with the board, which would make the final decision.
