The City of Readlyn will be flushing fire hydrants beginning Monday. The flushing is expected to last through the week. During that time citizens may notice water pressure vary or the water may become discolored. The discoloration does not affect taste or water quality and there is no health hazard. Those that do experience discoloration should run their cold water until the water clears. The City does recommend avoiding washing laundry during the day next week.
