The Iowa Firefighters Association 140th Annual Convention is just around the corner, being held in Waverly from September 5th through the 9th. This year will see a new event on Saturday night: the Waverly Firefighter’s Association Community Appreciation Night.
Mayor Dean Soash talks about the new event added to the convention:
The Community Appreciation Night will be held Saturday night Sept 1st at 8:00 p.m. and will be held on the convention site. Campground registration opens this Friday Aug 31st at noon. For more information visit the Waverly Fire Department 2018 Fire Convention Facebook page.
