An inmate has escaped from the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility, according to KWWL. 39 year old Rondell Cropp failed to return to the facility on September 29th. It is unclear why the public was not alerted until now. Cropp is described as a Black male standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 202 pounds. He was serving time for 1st degree Robbery in Black Hawk County as well as Possession of a Controlled Substance and Willful Injury. He had been admitted to the work release facility in May of last year. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement.
