The Waverly Shell Rock school district has introduced an interim principal for two of its elementary schools. Emilee Metcalf will serve as interim principal for both Prairie West and Shell Rock Elementaries. Metcalf will be familiar to many, this will be her 16th year in the district. She started as a second grade teacher and then taught third grade for eight years before serving as an Instructional Coach. She holds a bachelor’s and administrative degrees from UNI and her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University.
