A panel of state budget experts has maintained its earlier projection on Iowa’s revenue for the current fiscal year, but a state official says revenue for the upcoming year is lower than expected.
The three-member Revenue Estimating Conference said yesterday it predicts the state will take in just over $7-billion for the fiscal year that began last July.
