A group of kayakers had to be rescued on the Cedar River in Cedar Falls Sunday night, according to KWWL. Crews were called to Black Hawk Park at around 7:30 p.m. after the kayakers got trapped in a strong current that pushed them into debris. Water rescue teams launched boats and were able to bring the group to safety. Nobody was injured in the incident.
