Registration for kindergarten within the Waverly Shell Rock district is now open online. New families can visit wsr.k12.ia.us and choose the 2025-26 registration link. Families currently in the district can log in to the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus to register. Walk in registration will also be available. That will be held for Shell Rock families on January 29th from 8am to 3pm at the Shell Rock Elementary. For Waverly families, it will be held on January 30th from 8am to 3pm at the district business office. Those attending a walk-in registration should bring proof of age, immunizations, and Infinite Campus username and password if they already have students in the district. Birth certificates and immunization records can be uploaded into the online registration form, dropped off, or mailed. There is something new at Waverly Shell Rock for the 2025-26 school year, Transitional Kindergarten. The program will be held at a yet undetermined new elementary. It is designed to help children bridge the gap between preschool and kindergarten. It often benefits children with summer or fall birthdays by giving them extra time and support to prepare for school success.
