Kittle Gets President Job

Wartburg Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students Dan Kittle is leaving to become the President of Dakota Wesleyan University. During his 16 years at Wartburg Kittle served in academic affairs with administrative responsibility for faculty development and community engagement before being named the Director of the Center for Community Engagement in 2008. He then was appointed the Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives in 2012. He had served in his current role since 2015. Kittle has also taught a first year seminar each fall. He will become the 21st President at DWU, which enrolls around 950 students and has 130 faculty and is located in Mitchell, South Dakota.
