The La Porte City Golf Club has announced that it will close down. According to a Facebook post, the final day will be September 10th. The club says many factors were taken under consideration before coming to this conclusion. They say they are still open to any idea that would keep it open but to this point nothing has made sense. There will be an auction of the equipment and non-real property in the coming weeks and then the property will be listed as an acreage/farmland at that time.
