Despite this challenging news, the 52-year-old actor expressed his intention to continue working, stating he feels “fortunate” to return to the set of “Euphoria” for its upcoming season.​

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to loss of muscle control.
